Rick became a Huron Operating Partner in 2018 and brings over 24 years of experience in data center strategy, planning, design, and testing for public and private sector clients, and currently serves as Managing Director of EYP Mission Critical Facilities, Inc., a leading, privately-held, data center consulting and engineering firm that has designed over 70 million square feet of enterprise and service provider data centers and counts some of the world’s largest financial services, energy, and technology companies as clients.
Rick is a founding member of EYP Mission Critical Facilities and has spent over two decades driving growth, innovation, and profitability in various executive leadership roles under private, private equity, and corporate ownership. He served as Worldwide Vice President of Data Center Consulting at Hewlet Packard Enterprise (HPE) when EYP Mission Critical Facilities operated as a division of HPE. While at HPE, Rick was responsible for strategic planning, portfolio development, and overall management of the HP Technology’s Data Center Consulting Service line. Prior to HPE’s ownership, Rick served as President of EYP Mission Critical Facilities, directly leading the sales and marketing and communications functions. He has also served as a legislative congressional aide focused on the IT sector in the US Congress.
Rick earned his Bachelor of Arts from the Maxwell School of Citizenship at Syracuse University in 1992 and his master’s degree in business administration from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management in 1997.
